St Mark’s Church – Killylea

Location: Killylea

St Mark’s Church is the main landmark in the centre of Killylea village.  It was constructed in 1832 with the clock tower and chancel added in 1854 and 1874 respectively.  More improvements were made to the arcading along the eastern windows in 1890.  The windows depict Christ’s life and work and are particularly attractive.  The ‘Bath Marble’ font bears the inscription “Suffer the little children to come unto me”.
